Bit the bullet and went down to Sunset Honda in SLO to consider trading in my Civic for a larger, more visible CRV. The reliability of Hondas already "had me" so the CRV seemed like the perfect upgrade. We asked for the Costco price and were set to meet with with Ken Janes. Car dealerships are not my favorite place, but Ken assured me that Sunset would be the "new and improved" version as opposed to 2007 and 2008 when I chose to drive to Salinas to purchase two other Hondas. Can not say enough good things about Sunset! From my salesman Ken Janes to Mercedes in financing, everyone was awesome!!! They made it totally simple and were complete pros! I am absolutely in love with my car! Ken helped me find exactly the perfect car, he seemed to know what I wanted even before I could totally put it into words. I will never go anywhere else to buy a car!
Replaced our 2013 Honda 4 months before the 36 mo lease term ended with a new 2016 Honda. Auto-payment ran for full 36 mo and then stopped. Instead Honda or Honda Financial Services calling us or letting us know otherwise, they went ahead and reported late payment to the credit agencies dumping our most excellent FICO ever by more than 100 points. NEVER EVER HONDA AGAIN!! They'll call every day to make a sale, but once the sale's done, Honda's got no customer service.
I love buying cars at Sunset Honda. I bought my last three cars here from Ken Janes and had such an amazing experience. So friendly and not intimidating at all.
We just recently bought a 2013 Hyundai Elantra from Sunset Honda. We had a great experience! Salesman Mercedes was very professional and pleasant to work with. The car works great and we are extremely satisfied. Will definitely return when we decide to get our second car!
