Great value in today’s economy. No nonsense generous-portion breakfast was just perfect: three eggs, with Texas toast, two bacon and two sausages, loads of potatoes, $13.99. With peameal $14.99. No wait, no resos, fast courteous service. Went to the Bloor/Church location, great for a stop between shopping. I love that they have the small packets of strawberry jam, peanut butter and honey out, which I always save my toast for, slathered in jam for dessert.
I had a very disappointing experience at Sunset Grill downtown. The service was extremely slow—I waited far too long just to have my order taken, and even longer for the food to arrive. What made it worse was the lack of professionalism. The server was not friendly at all and came across as rude and dismissive. At one point, she was standing at the back near the payment area using her phone, completely ignoring customers.
