RecommendedLots of memories (most of them before the KOA) and we love the location (and the dog beach)
Totally Different music at pool for sure. A mix of anything more current would be great. It’s been a complaint in our large group for many for years now.
We have stayed there a few times and we love it because they are dog friendly, very pleasant and customer focused unlike some of the chains we have stayed at.
My wife and just got married here this past weekend. The service was wonderful, the team made checking in super easy, the Jackspot has great food and service, it’s very affordable and they also had a shuttle for guest into the town. I want to give the biggest thank you to the GM Greg, Front desk- Pam, Tiffany and everyone else, Mr. Tims for the shuttle service and last but not least Nicole Smith for holding a block of rooms, weekly updates and a smooth free process. Rating is 11/10 and we can’t wait to come back.
Friendly people, nice service and good Equipment
Great place to stay. They made so many upgrades and changes. Place is great. The only thing room wise that was needed to be redone was our bathroom. It was dated, and seemed more industrial truck stop. Than it did resort. But we are already planning on going back.
A great KOA campground, but certainly misrepresented in the booking and advertising as a hotel resort
Great place to take your boat
Everything was great about this place except the rooms. The staff was great, the beach was great, the restaurant was great, even the store was great - but the rooms.... they were old and dirty (not even just old and worn rugs - there were crumbs and dirt like it hadn't been vacuumed). I put towels down on the rugs so we didn't walk on them and took a shower with shoes on. We would love to go back but are thinking of renting an RV because we won't stay in those rooms again.
