First of three nights , has been great so far. Love the Sunset grill.
We loved sunset beach-married there on 8/8/09, been to the beach a few time and decided to go back for dinner on our anniversary and couldn't seem to get waited on. Waited for 30 minutes while a waitress walked by us no less than 5 times without even acknowledging us. Before sitting down we went to bar to see if we needed to be seated or it was seat yourself. Obviously they knew we were there, just didn't seem to care.
Great place to visit but I would nt want to live there.
Good food, fun place. Hotel in front just sucks. Go for the food and fun...room somewhere else.
Love the location. Wish they would be more reasonable on the rates though. It's no Hampton Inn but my room was clean and comfortable enough. I'm ok with $79/night for a motel 6 level hotel in that area, but when they run the price up to Hampton Inn like rates, I'm not going to able to stay there. Off season should be about $55 and in Season should be about $79. YOU"LL LOVE THE TIKI BAR and the food is good there. I think they would stay booked if they lowered the price.
