When we bought Farmington Bakery in 1998, our goal had actually been to start up our own whole grain bakery. But in finding Farmington Bakery, we loved the variety of baked goods that it already offered, the potential for us to expand that line and, just as important, that it was in a downtown where we could become part of a community.
