When we bought Farmington Bakery in 1998, our goal had actually been to start up our own whole grain bakery. But in finding Farmington Bakery, we loved the variety of baked goods that it already offered, the potential for us to expand that line and, just as important, that it was in a downtown where we could become part of a community. I love Sunflour Bakehaus! All of their goods are fresh daily. And they have an incredible variety of delicious pastries, croissants, scones, cakes,etc. Their unique selection of Christmas cookies can’t be outdone. I have had many occasions furnished with custom cakes by them. And then there is their Old World Bread. Oh wow!

Love their pretzel bread, iced sugar cookies, Lenten King Cake, various Christmas goodies, etc., and especially Becky and her staff’s friendliness (not to mention her husband’s baking skills)!

The Old World bread, because it is like no other bread I have ever had! I miss it so much since I moved to Northern Michigan! This is the best bakery with the friendliest people! When I do get back in the area, I like to visit, but end up buying a little bit of everything to get my fill! Wonderful Memories~ Becky, I miss your smiling face!
