The Urology dept and their masters in the Anesthesia dept are an uncaring lot. They put me in danger and then canceled my procedure.
The doctors are not the reason for my 1 star...they were great!!! SUMMIT HEALTHS BILLING are crooks & if you don't keep record of your payments & copy of cleared checks be assured SUMMIT HEALTH will rob you. My daughter had an out patient same day procedure June 2022, my 1st bill came in July 2022 & I made a payment followed by 2 separate payments in Aug. 2022. They used to be a great healthcare company. Now they shuffle patients in and out, overbook them and make everyone sit in waiting rooms upwards of 2 hours waiting for a 10 minute doctor visit. I recently contacted the Opthalmology Department, now located in New Providence, NJ across the road from their Berkeley Heights headquarters and spoke with an Amy, who informed me that the next eye exam availability is in March 2023. I went to a Summit Medical Group surgeon in Florham Park. I paid a $125. consultation fee. The office was supposed to do their due diligence and get back to me with my out of pocket costs and other information. I waited...nothing. I called and spoke to people several times and was told they'd track down the information and get back to me...nothing.
