Do not go here. I was scheduled for a nerve conduction test, waited the 5 weeks for my appointment only to be told by them that my insurance (bcbs of Alabama) requires a neurologist to perform the test, which they do not have. I contacted my insurance company, who said that was not true and that another qualified provider could do so. Insurance company contacted the provider who then stated it was their policy to not bill nerve conduction tests to out of state insurances. This was very different than what Summit told me. The billing department is rude! They have over billed us $158 and now won't give us our money back. Not a single statement shows our payments, which tells me there is something shady going on. We had to call them and walk them through each charge and payment in order to prove to them we were over charged. I am also filing a complaint with the BBB. Do not go to anyone associated with Summit unless you have money or time you don't need.

I’ve been going here for a couple of years. The receptionist have messed up a few of my appointments, but I really loved Dr. Bellmore. I received a voicemail from my doctors office yesterday saying I was dropped by doctor Bellmore as patient, and my appointment today was canceled. I was blown away, and called; I was told I had to call corporate about it. I did, and a lady was very rude, cut me off, and said I had to call the doctors office again. My sleep study was fine and I would give the attendant 5 stars, my frustration and very poor review is due to the following facts: 1) I was asked to schedule a follow-up as soon as possible to receive my results, making me believe they had found something wrong; 2) I drove 30 minutes through a storm in order to get to my appointment on time; 3) I spent LESS THAN 5 MINUTES WITH THE NURSE, NOT THE DOCTOR, telling me my results were fine, that there was NOTHING that would indicate I need a CPAP; 4) I WAS THEN CHARGED A $30.00 C... read more

I would have to agree with most of the people on this site. I went in for a well visit for insurance purposes and now have a 95.00 bill. I have called many times and spoken with any one who would listen that the braces they gave me, I was told were samples. The billing department is terrible and my doctor said I was free to find another if i wanted to. This is after 21 years with him.
