I called endlessly for over month to get a building placed on my farm. I got a return call after 2 weeks, it arrived late on a Saturday afternoon. They actually left a voicemail but upon returning the call I got no call back. It's now been 2 months and the price of the building that I told them that I was needing is $5k more.
We have now had two building done with Summertown Metals. The first was a 36x36 pole barn, and the second was. a 16x32 shop. In both cases we worked with Derek Stoll. He took excellent care of our needs, and while there were some hiccups with the second project he immediately fixed the issues and made sure the project was done correctly at no extra cost to us. I wouldn't hesitate to work with him and this company again. We are so happy with our finished buildings!
I started calling around to get bid estimates on my semi large project in spring of 2020. Summertown metal came back with best pricing, design and customer service and super awesome building TJ Jones. We got the material July 3rd and started building and it was done before I knew it. we have added to it and TJ Jones has assisted in alot of other projects for us to make our courtyard complete. On May 4, 2020 I sent Derek Stoll a drawing with a list of items requested for my building, carport and lean to. On May 15, 2020 I received an invoice (not itemized) with the wrong trusses, incorrect size, incorrect garage door size and type, incorrect insulation and the eve trim, rat guard etc was not showing a color and the 20 x 20 carport was not on there. I am just an Old Retired Soldier who still lives my life of everything being dress right dress, everything in its place, customer service, and working with professional's. My experience with Summertown metals has not been good. I scheduled and appointment with Derek to come up on a Friday and took off work. They were going to help me with the design process and I was ready to get a building ordered. Upon arrival we were promptly brought in and seen Derek after talking a few minutes he left the room and we heard him state these people have no idea what they want should have give them to someone else. I have been around construction for over 35 years-seen it all: the good, the bad, and the ugly!!! These guys were very helpful and responsive to my needs and concerns. The package they sold me was first rate-not a bad piece of wood. JM Construction did an excellent job of erecting the hay barn. I was there at the job site the whole time. I watched everything they did and it was "spot on"!!! I would highly recommend Summertown Metals and JM Construction: 931-548-9628. You won't find better.
