I can't say enough wonderful things about this facility. My Mother transferred from another Nursing Home to Summersville and to say it is night and day is such an understatement. All of the staff treats your loved one like family. I feel so relieved that Mom is here. This place is the BEST!!!
One would assume or imagine that a "Nursing Home/ Healthcare Center" would be riddled with issues, lack of cleanliness, and understaffing issues. However, this facility is very much the opposite. My mother was transferred here a little over 2 yrs ago, and although I live in South Carolina, we have peace of mind knowing that she rests and lives in great hands. Peace of mind! I know my father is in good hands and is treated like family. He has made an may new friends and enjoys doing activities with them.
We have attended a few events here geared towards children. We went to the 2024 trick or treat event and the 2025 easter egg hunt event. My girls absolutely loved both events! The staff was sweet and helpful even when very busy! It was a joy to see all the residents out and about and participating. The building was SO clean and fresh.
