All he really said was that her heart is functioning normally. Her turning purple could be due to fight or flight or being cold. Neither have anything to do with what is happening unless her body is abnormally going into fight or flight response. Which doesn't appear to be happening. The appointment felt kind of rushed. He spoke low with a very talkative toddler on my lap so I had difficulty hearing everything he said. Overall not a great experience. He talked so fast I barely understood him. I was in that office for over an hour and saw the doctor for less than 5 minutes and really not understanding everything due to doctor seemed in hurry.
We took our son in for and EKG and echocardiogram. Before we even met with Dr. Sharma, he was already talking with Vanderbilt about our son’s condition. He was very thorough explaining the situation and acted fast on our behalf. The office staff is great as well.
