This arena, opened in 1983, has held past concerts including Willie Nelson, Rod Stewart, Neil Diamond, Reba McEntire, Aerosmith and No Doubt. It is also home to performances by Champions on Ice, sporting events such as the annual Great Alaskan Shootout basketball playoffs and the Anchorage Aces' hockey games. The sullivan arena charges to park, yet they only accept cash. With today’s technology they do not offer square or any other option to pay with credit card. Today 5/11/19 my son and I are here to enjoy the circus. There is only one entrance open, therefore we are forced to wait in a line half way around the building in the wind!! Horrible management. Just a suggestion.... pay the $6 parking fee in pennies, maybe then they will opt for square or some other form of credit card payment 😈

Please cancel the booking of Garden Bros Circus unless they commit to animal free performances. Garden Bros Circus and Larry Corden, who provides their elephants, have an awful animal welfare history. Circus animals have a miserable existence often beaten or jabbed with painful bull hooks to control them.
