The sullivan arena charges to park, yet they only accept cash. With today’s technology they do not offer square or any other option to pay with credit card. Today 5/11/19 my son and I are here to enjoy the circus. There is only one entrance open, therefore we are forced to wait in a line half way around the building in the wind!! Horrible management. Just a suggestion.... pay the $6 parking fee in pennies, maybe then they will opt for square or some other form of credit card payment 😈

In the affidavit, the whistleblower asserts that while working during the circus’s Waterbury, Connecticut, performances, Piccadilly’s general manager, Zachary Garden, beat a zebra named Ziggy after the animal jumped out of the performance ring during an evening performance. During the beating, Ziggy was reportedly held in place by the general supervisor, known as Bucket, while Garden “forcefully [struck] Ziggy with a tiger stick—an approximately 3′ long plastic or fiberglass stick with a blunt metal end—with such force that ... read more

Please cancel the upcoming Garden Brothers circus. PETA reports that the elephants in this circus named Betty and Bo have been forced to stand on concrete resulting in their feet being bruised and Betty becoming chronically lame, yet still made to give rides and perform tricks. It's a fact that circus elephants often suffer from joint and foot disorders due to the constant chaining and confinement to small spaces. Their lives are much shorter than their counterparts in the wild, who usually roam for up to 100 miles a day. Ci... read more

Sullivan Arena: Garden Bros. Circus brought its cruel animal act to the Danbury Ice Arena in Connecticut over the weekend, but it was the last time! The venue's new management company, Diamond Properties, is working with PETA to eliminate animal circuses in the future. In a whistleblower report, a former Garden Bros. employee described frequently seeing elephants with blood dripping from behind their ears, which is typically where handlers jab and puncture their skin with bullhooks to force them to obey. I urge the Sullivan ... read more

I urge the decision-makers to please STOP featuring venues with animal acts. Supporting animal abuse is out-dated entertainment.

Please do not support and attend Garden Bros. Circus. Garden Bros. Circus brought its cruel animal act to the Danbury Ice Arena in Connecticut over the weekend, but it was the last time! The venue's new management company, Diamond Properties, is working with PETA to eliminate animal circuses in the future. Garden Bros. Circus is planning to force camels and two elephants named Betty and Bo to perform ridiculous tricks at locations across the country. Larry Carden, who currently provides the elephants for this circus, has a h... read more

Please cancel the booking of Garden Bros Circus unless they commit to animal free performances. Garden Bros Circus and Larry Corden, who provides their elephants, have an awful animal welfare history. Circus animals have a miserable existence often beaten or jabbed with painful bull hooks to control them. The animals then comply to carry out tricks or rides under the threat and fear of further pain. They are confined to small spaces for long periods, chained or tethered. They cannot engage in any of their instinctive, natura... read more
