fabulous
Great - please note this provider retired in 2019 !
Please read other low star reviews, of which I am adding my own: 60 minute wait time for appointment. Wasted time in appointment with irrelevant discussion. Office staff dishonest and misleading to patients when they call in to inquire of wait time - told doctor was on schedule when she clearly was not. Office staff leaves before appointments are done for the day, leaving many holes in what would be considered normal procedure in other professional settings. Office hours stated on website hours are inconsistent with actual o... read more
Patient of Dr. Romanick's for 8 years. I stood by her all that time despite her inability to be on time ( never, ever, even if you have the 1st appointment of the day), her discontinuing accepting insurance PERIOD, her refusal to deal with phone calls between appts for things like medication questions, etc. ( like all other doctors do). My last visit was the proverbial straw that broke the camel's back. Once again, first appt of the day yet she was 40 minutes late. Spent too much time on unnecessary discussions while she typ... read more
Dr. Romanick may be board certified, but her practice is garbage. She is a terrible doctor herself, who tried to tell me that my RA was diet related, and if I switched to a GF diet my RA would get better. Then when I went GF free for 3 months and nothing improved, she said I didn't give it enough time. Because of insurance reasons I stayed with her throughout this, and then she got a PA, and quit seeing me. I don't go to a specialist to see the assistant. Through all that, my RA values went through the roof. I finally found ... read more
People complain about waiting to see Dr Romanick which makes me crazy because the reason she runs late is because she will not be held to 15 minutes or 30 minutes like Every doctor in town if she thinks you need more of her time. Isn’t that what we all want?!? She cares and will spend as much time with a person as they need. She is thorough, compassionate, educated, current on research and drugs and documents everything incredibly. Best doc I’ve ever had.
Educated, perceptive, caring and thorough. Dr Romanick is what we should all expect from a doctor. For those that whine about a wait time - enjoy your perfectly scheduled and useless 15 minutes with every other doctor in town. I’ll wait if needed because I know I’m getting the very best care.
I have been seeing Dr. Romanick for 17years for my SLE Lupus. She is an AMAZING doctor and I have the utmost respect for her. She has never steered me wrong and I have full confidence in her and her abilities. She is extremely knowledgeable, and truly cares about her patients. She takes the time to fully exam you, discuss concerns either she or you have, make sure you leave feeling confident in your decisions of treatment and never just throws you on medications you don’t need.
It's taken me years of complaining to many medical professionals to be referred to what my primary care told me was the best. I had to wait for 5 months to get an appt, it was worth it to go to the best. I've lived this way, a few more months wasn't going to make a difference... What I do with new medical providers is write them a three page letter explaining what's going on, what has been tried and what I need help with. I suspect that this is why Dr. Romanick & I work so well together.
