RecommendedThe first time I walked into a Stuff Etc. was in Cedar Rapids, and I was immediately hooked! I loved it all! From the clothes, to the wall decor, to the furniture. Stuff gave me the opportunity to buy name brand items at great prices. When I heard they were opening a store in Dubuque I was beyond excited and wanted to be a part of it. stuff etc is a poor place to work. corporate doesn't care about the safety, concerns, or voices of their staff. I would not recommend working here OR shopping here. don't support people who put the importance of profits over their own employees!

RecommendedI have worked for Stuff Etc. for a little over a year now and have worked RETAIL for over 20 years. I love working for Stuff it gives a small business feel to a large retail business. RecommendedI have been employed at Stuff etc for close to a year now. I have to say, I love , love my job. I have experienced nothing but respect and kindness from my fellow co workers and all those that lead us. I have the upmost respect for those in leadership that will roll up their sleeves and jump right in and do the same things they ask of me. Heck , I worked beside the owner for at least a dozen times and had no clue she was an owner. I love that! And BONUS , we have fun!
This is a post that has been a long time coming when it comes to consigning. I realize Stuff Etc may be still getting a handle on their procedures HOWEVER I still see the value in trying to consign my items every once and a while. Today, I called the Coralville location on my way to town ( I live 30 miles away) to see if I needed an appointment or how it looked. They told me that appointments were booked 3 weeks out, however to come in and fill a tote like normal and they'd donate any items they don't take ( like normal) I c... read more
RecommendedStuff has so many gems and an ever changing array of merchandise. I have found so many things for my home there. Not to be political, but in these times, what I love most about Stuff is there commitment to personal choice and freedom. I love that I can go in and not be shamed by mandated mask requirements. Everyone's choices are honored. It's just so fun to shop there!!
