Studio Zen is the only salon I'll go to! Studio Zen is a cute salon with a relaxing vibe and friendly stylists. It's always been very clean and had fun music playing when I've been there. Everyone I've talked with there is very helpful and cheerful all the time. Studio Zen is Awesome Studio Zen is a nice, up-to-date salon located on Campus Corner by OU. They take walk-ins and appointments and also sell hair products, art, jewelry, etc. I have been going to Aura for a couple of years (since moving to Norman) for cuts and color and she is awesome! Studio Zen is So Great!! I won a free haircut at Studio Zen on the first day of college, and, needless to say, I was so excited! However, panic quickly struck me when I realized that I had no idea where this place was--on the day of my appointment!! (I am from out of state). Lauren ROCKS my locks! Lauren Deger has always done an amazing job on my hair. she remembers how my hair grows and reacts to different cuts and products. NIKI ROCKS!!!! Niki has been my stylist for almost 5 years now. She is great! She's easy to communicate with when it comes to my color & cut. My husband even gets his hair cut by her. He actually has a style now!!! Anyone looking for a stylist. Just give her a call. She will work her magic. She won't let you leave unhappy:)
Ryan is awesome! I have never been so happy with my hair! It took a lot of time to do my highlights (because I have long, thick hair), but Ryan took her time and did amazing work. My hair was exactly what I wanted. I will definitely be going back to her!
Go see Niki ASAP! Niki is easily the best hairstylist I've ever been to. As a male who likes to experiment with color from time to time, there is no better person to go to than Niki. Every cut/color I get is great, and unlike most visits to a beauty salon, I can honestly say I enjoy my time being there because Niki is so personable. She's nice, funny, and easy to talk to. As long as I'm in Norman, Niki will be the ONLY person who touches my hair.
Ryan Dunn Ryan Dunn had been my hair dresser for over a year. She does such a great job. But the best think is that I can fix my own hair because she cuts and colors it so well.
Don't waste your money! I decided to try this place out and was horrified! The place is dirty and cheaply decorated, the stylist fried my hair after turning it brownish-green, and I've called up there numerous times asking them to please fix it and I can't get anyone to call me back! This place was horrible and I would never recommend it to anyone.
