I tried to find a good stylist for over a year when I moved to the OKC area. FINALLY, I found Sky at Studio Zen. Oh my gosh. I love what I look like when I leave. The color is always natural looking, my haircut is always exactly what I want (even if I didn't know I wanted a specific look and left it up to her), and she is just stinkin cool so chatting it up is so much fun. Over all, this place kicks some serious boody.
I went to this salon back in August to fix a small issue from a previous haircut. I researched this salon and made it very clear I needed someone who understood long, thick, wavy hair. I was booked with Skye Starzinski and it was one giant mistake. I had long, healthy, almost one length hair that I had been growing out for about a year and a half. Dare to Compare! I have nearly black hair, which is difficult to color. Also, I have been to a few salons in Oklahoma City and surrounding areas, none of them were as good as studio zen!! Victoria did my hair and it came out perfectly. Now my mom has come up from Arkansas just to use her. Yes, the salon and Victoria are that good!!!
Fantastic! Studio Zen is pretty amazing place. Clean, relaxing, modern and just pleasant. All the employees were friendly and very helpful. I scheduled my first appointment by phone, but I see it is possible to do it on-line too (great!). I came to refresh my highlights and do a little trimming. Sky Newell was my hairdresser. She has a warm, welcoming personality, making her easy to talk to. She listened to what I wanted and asked a few questions to make sure that we are on the same page. Skye Starzenski!! I absolutely LOVE this salon!! My stylist's name is Skye Starzenski and she does such a good job! I pretty much just go in and tell her to do what she wants because I know it will turn out great. She has an awesome personality too, she cracks me up everytime I go in there! Another thing that I love about her is that she doesn't take 4 hours for a cut and color, this girl gets down to business! I would totally recommend her to EVERYONE!
Great Visit Oh Em Gee.... Best. Place. Ever. I think my stylist was named Victoria (I called her Vicky...she loved it). Not only was it a great haircut, she was so smart too. Very patriotic gal. Go, America! (Am I right!?)
