Terrible Service and Lying Staff – My insurance allows a pair of glasses per year based on a formula that includes the wholesale price of glasses. The staff at Studio Optix LIES about the wholesale price of frames so that the consumer would have to pay more. The staff refuses to help its own customers with frames if the frames are not bought from their store. Excellent Studio for all your eyewear needs – I told all my family members & friends & co-workers about Sudio Optix! This is the best location to go for Eyecare as they definitely care about your eye health. The staff is so helpful in deciding which frames look the best on you. best doctor and glasses selection ever – never wore glasses before and studio optix was recommened by my company. though I would dread the day I needed glasses but they made it fun and very professional. have excellent equipment and service. had one issue that the frame I choose was back ordered so they even gave me the same frame in a different color to get them earlier. Superb Optical Studio – I took my daughter to have her eyes checked. I was very impressed with the excellent customer service. Everyone was curtious, helpful & friendly. My daughter was very pleased with her new frames. I highly recommend Studio Optix to everyone.
Great Place – Brought my son in when I was visiting NY at Rockefeller Center. Want to congratulate this superb staff from front desk to the excellent doctor..WOW..they had him wearing stylish glasses and comfortable fitting contact lenses immediately! I can see clearly now!!!! – Went to Studio Optix for the first time being referred by a coworker. We have this insurance which I never used before;needed glasses. Best experience as there frame selection was great,pricing was competitive, the doctors (have a staff of 3 I think?) could not have been more informative. Avoid this doc with shady practice – I have gone to Studio Optix for an eye exam as well as to order replacement glasses. Asides from having a rushed exam, the doctor didn't listen to me as to how I use my glasses, and as a result prescribed something that was too strong. Subsequently, after not being able to use the prescribed glasses, I had to make a follow up appt, and his staff member called me the day before my appt to cancel it because the doctor is out of the country due to unforseen circumstances. Overcharged, then billed for more – My girlfriend and I went to Studio Optix to get two new pairs of glasses, and told the staff at Studio Optix exactly how much our insurance company was going to cover for each of us. They agreed, called our insurance company to verify the amount, then billed us for the remainder (which was high, but we paid it on the spot).
