Recommendedthe barbecue and main dishes were great. we ordered the potato salad because we had had it many times before. I don't know who changed the recipe but it is awful. Just a little bit of mashed potatoes with some mayonnaise and sour cream in it. Not even any salt or pepper. Do not order it it is awful!
RecommendedI’ve always came to HS to have a good weekend and usually ride my Harley. I always see bikers eating here and after a couple of years, I figured I would go and try it. It’s a little unbelievable from the outside, but the inside reeks of BBQ. I took a interest in the spud and asked the fellow at the bar to recommend one or the other. RecommendedIt’s been 40 years since I have eaten here. Use to come here with my parents. The food has not changed.
Stubby’s food was absolutely delicious. The way the bbq tastes on your tongue along with the potato salad!! It was just like my Mama’s! Can’t wait to come back! AND the price for all that food is awesome!! Loved it! The atmosphere of the restaurant is warm and homey, love the license plates!

The staff was very friendly and the brisket plate was good. Thick-cut, tender, and juicy brisket is what I look for at barbecue restaurants and y’all’s didn’t disappoint. I wish that we had a barbecue restaurant of this caliber in the community that I live. We have five barbecue restaurants here already, if that tells you anything.
