We have been to Strasburg Railroad so many times! My grandson is autistic and we bring him there about 9 or 10 times a year. We always go to the train museum too. The staff at Strasburg Railroad are always very nice to my grandson and answer all his questions(he has many) If you ask him where his favorite place is he will without hesitation say Strasburg Railroad. Thank you Strasburg Railroad for always being so kind and understanding with my grandson!
In my humble opinion, it's the best steam locomotive ride in the area.
Every time I visit the Lancaster area taking a ride on the Strasburg Train is a must. Love riding in First Class and enjoying a glass of wine with a side cheese plate. The Conductor and all the staff are friendly, knowledgeable, and welcoming.
Our family loves the trains and the beautiful scenery.
Great experience, fun times! I did the open air coach train and the scenery was surreal, beautiful landscapes, and standing out on the platform by the steam engine was great. Our conductor was very informative and I'd definitely return in the fall. The great activities for kids at the station was very family friendly and tolerable for adults.
I've been there plenty of times, in the past two years or so. My fiancee and I, road in an open-air car and went to the museum, yesterday. We both live in Lancaster County, but it was great to see different parts of the county, from a train. We also, enjoyed shopping in several of the gift shops. I would recommend visiting the Strasburg Rail Road and Train Museum to anyone, that wants to learn about history in a low-key way.
I don't have words to describe how much fun we had riding the train. Everyone had a fantastic time!
Very pleasant afternoon ride through beautiful Lancaster countryside. Helpful and caring staff, well maintained carriages and a warm welcome!
The train ride was amazing we had first class lounge sets. The set's move all the wayaround and my grandson Cameron loved it because he could see everything. Plus we got tickets for the train plus the train museum. Also they have a playground and a few rides that Cameron really liked.
