Been here many time as a kid, once or twice solo, and some with my kid. Absolute easy-going family fun outing. Pack a picnic lunch, and a few park-level activities for the memorable train ride. A few other nearby train themed destinations, as well, any young rail-fan would give their yearly allocation to see.
I'm in my mid 50s and it was like a kid in a candy store loved every minute of it for the 6 hrs I was there definitely will recommend this place
An educational fun time! The trains are lovingly restored and appointed. We thoroughly enjoyed the trains, knowledgable staff,nand everything about being there. We were not train enthusiasts when we got there, but we are now.
We loved it!!! I wish we had more time to visit. Beautiful country, loved the trains! We took the train ride on the dining car. Our daughter was in heaven! Thank you!

what a amazing place! everyone is so friendly!& the train ride was great! good snacks, the waitress was awesome! museum was unbelievable!! I highly recommend this place !
I can not say enough good things about Strasburg Rail Road. I had a group of 25 people with me to celebrate my Husbands 60th birthday. He passed away 3 years ago so the train ride was a very emotional one for all of us. Strasburg was his favorite place to be. All of the staff was respectful of our emotions and made it a great day for all of us. Thank you again to all of the staff.
What a lovely night. Wish the ride was longer. The wait staff were extremely pleasant, as well!
