My husband and I took our daughters, ages 2 & 4 for the Day Out With Thomas. It was a great experience overall. We enjoyed the activities offered by the Thomas team as well as the Strasburg railroad. Both of our girls would have enjoyed getting to have a more up close look at Thomas.

We went for Day Out With Thomas and it was a perfect day to visit! First off, thank you for having a Mother’s nursing car! It’s greatly appreciated, so nice to not have to sit outside in the cold to pump. We were able to do all the activities a few times because it was a bit chilly and the Friday before Thanksgiving. We arrived early to ensure we could participate in everything and be on time. It seemed to be a bit unorganized at the beginning. One of the employees couldn’t find all of the trains for the train tables but, we... read more

Went yesterday for the murder mystery dinner. The staff didn't seem to know exactly what was going on. The door was left open so many times that it was freezing the whole time. Not sure why you would do a skit about Poop while people are eating. Servers didn't know what soup there was. Finally got our alcoholic drinks at the end of the ride (on the house since we were forgot about) and asking for more tea and told that they only so many hands. (Asked before ride started and finally got it on way back) Cheesecake was deliciou... read more

Great day out. We tried the Shop Tour this time, was well worth the time and cost. Our guide was very knowledgeable. Really cool to see behind the scenes.

You can’t get more authentic than this. We enjoy making an entire weekend out of it with the train rides, museum, Choo-Choo Barn and good at the nearby local places.

Had a fabulous afternoon here! Rode in a parlor car on a real steam train! Explored an incredible number of old rail cars, from the common to the unusual and everything in between! Wonderful docents showing off and telling stories of the history of various rail cars as we walked through them! Favorites included, the steam engine from the movie, Hello Dolly, a training car, a snowplow, and a number of cabooses, rarely seen today! Would highly recommend, great family fun!
