So this was a horrible experience. Drinks ordered, never arrived till we almost arrived back to the start. Second the santa never showed till we were almost back and he ran past. Never stopped and said hi to my grandchildren. I think it was a horrible experience for the kids. Never again. Last experience, 6 years ago was awesome. Sorry to say that we won’t do this again. 😔
Went on the Christmas Feast ride. It was very enjoyable.....except it was not a feast. They also ran out of gingerbread cookies (How does that happen?). One of the guys at our table really was looking forward to trying one. We also asked for more iced tea and never got it, but those alcoholic drinks you paid extra for were a priority for the servers. Food was decent for catered in stuff.
So much fun! As always Strasburg Rail Road is amazing!
Totally for the 1.5 hour drive for us. My kids were never into trains until yesterday, and now they can’t stop talking about it.
We had a wonderful experience here. I recommend it to everyone with or without kids.
Well worth the short drive from the Baltimore area. We had such a great time. Steam engines are so cool, from the full size to the small engine that pulls the kiddie train around. Loved the Christmas theme with carolers, Santa, and brass duet.
The idea was great except it's such a rush !!! Wasn't suppose to board until 6:00pm. Not everyone was told you could board early people already eating supper , when my wife n I boarded at 6:00 like we were told !!! They were stuffing our meal in our face before we could even get our jackets off. Just lucky the food was half descend ""@
