This was our first train excursion but definitely not the last. Everything is authentic and beautifully restored. Every employee we interacted with was friendly and knowledgeable. Our only disappointment was that our trip wasn't longer. Highly recommend to anyone with children or anyone interested in train history.
Strasburg Rail Road is fun, and worth the trip for families, rail fans, historians, and children of all ages. The Strasburg team showcases the skill and effort that it took to move the nation on rails during the century-plus of the steam era. Riders on the road to Paradise also get a close-up look at agriculture performed without power machinery.
The people were very nice, and the train ride was enjoyable. Must see the train museum, Awesome 😎
