Message from Stove Come on in. It's very quaint, almost romantic with only 10 tables. The cougar lounge has only 8 seats at the bar and one banqette that holds four so very fun and special. Great food - great chef / owner - career wait staff - and more character & style than any other restaurant I've been.
The flat iron steak last night was beyond words..............we didn't want the incredible flavors to end! Syd, you are as amazing as always and are definitely one of my 5 most favorite places to dine!
We had a really tasty, tender "flat iron steak" Friday night at Syd's. Flat iron steak, who knew? Of course, the yummy goat cheese, etc. topping and little cucumber tasting potatoes just enhanced it the more. Syd was on the floor chatting with everyone and making us all feel welcome. Love Stove!
My post yesterday apparently did not post. I rated Stove a 1 for it's Brunch after waiting 1.5 hrs for our meal to be delivered and when it came it was not all at the same time. People who came in 15 to 20 minutes after hwd their food and were finished before we got our food. We had brought our daughter and her family and were embarresed by the wait. We have eaten there before and would rate it a 5 every time. Not even an apology nor an explanation as to what happened. They did pick up the tab for the meal.
Amazing food and I love Greg, the guy who takes care of us. I had the veggie plate 4 and 5... wow... can't say enough good things about this restaurant.
Charming, quirky atmosphere. Wait staff treats you like a million bucks. Food can't be beaten. Owner is hilarious and kind hearted! Can't say enough great things!
My boyfriend, Christopher, and I had dinner here for our 1 year anniversary. From the time we walked in, we loved the place! It's a smaller cozy setting. They start you with their delicious fresh flaky crusted bread and softened butter. I had a special of the day, Rock Fish over jalapeño sticky with jumbo shrimp and cubed rutabagas in a holy trinity cream sauce. It was divine!!
