Message from Stove Come on in. It's very quaint, almost romantic with only 10 tables. The cougar lounge has only 8 seats at the bar and one banqette that holds four so very fun and special. More about Stove a small 32 seat restaurant serving seafood, beef, pork and vegetable dishes. Open 5 days a week from 5 to 9 during the week and 5 to 10 on Friday and Saturday. Open the 1st. Delicious, you could taste garden freshness! I was amazed to find this gem in Portsmouth.
Even with reservations the wait was far too long. Food was good. Priced higher for the eclectic, organic, urban vibe setting. Waitress was ok, not engaged with us at all. Just not sure I would go back.

The cheeses were amazing! Along with the barrel fish and aged strip steak just melted in your mouth! Excellent service one of the best restaurants we have been to in a long time!!
