About this business

Message from Stove Come on in. It's very quaint, almost romantic with only 10 tables. The cougar lounge has only 8 seats at the bar and one banqette that holds four so very fun and special. More about Stove a small 32 seat restaurant serving seafood, beef, pork and vegetable dishes. Open 5 days a week from 5 to 9 during the week and 5 to 10 on Friday and Saturday. Open the 1st. We were looking for tasty comfort food, and tonight we found it. The fish (puppy drum) was so delicious it's going to be hard to cook my own dinner for a few nights. The wait staff provided the perfect combination for our meal. I have never been disappointed at the Stove. Did I mention the filet !!!!!

Sydney Meers has created an artistically eclectic setting from which to serve some of the best food you ever ate! Last night I had the flounder with smoked tomatoes and shrimp with cheesy grits. The flounder was so perfectly cooked, it would would have been a sin not to eat the crispy skin. Port Norfolk has the epicenter of epicurean delight on Detroit Ave...That place, Stove, really cooks!

Wonderful, Welcoming, Colorful, Cozy and Heart Warming. That was just upon entering and trying to pick only one entree of descriptive food porn. The staff was personable, friendly and knowledgeable. I must also say patient because we had a hard time choosing. Now the Food. After reading awesome reviews and waiting forever to visit the Stove I was wondering if my imagination would appreciate the REAL. WOW and WOW × 100. The warm rustic bread and butter was a carb lovers fantasy. A large visiting green salad was sweet, tangy a... read more
