History Established in 2005. Stormin' Norman's barbecue and Chicken was founded by our Dad (Norman) and Mom (Mary Alice) Richardson. Daddy started up, owned and operated many successful businesses during his lifetime and truly believed that you should not place all of your eggs in one basket. RecommendedGreat North Carolina style BBQ and collard greens. All of the staff were extremely friendly as well. A great stop along our trip.

Amazing food! Driving through to New York with dogs and let us sit on the patio with them. Thumbs up to them and the Robertson family the owns this restaurant.

Driving home yesterday from the outlet malls and my husband spotted Stormin' Norman's billboard. Stormin' Norman's is a great place for the BBQ sandwich and fried chicken. They give you generous portions and the staff is kind and friendly. My husband and I will be back. It's worth the 2 1/2 hour drive from Virginia.
