Designed by the creator of the PC2150, Dr. Frank Fleming, the Northstar PL-AGM 31M uses a slightly high plate compression giving it a high nominal capacity. These batteries are currently in hot demand marine and other deep cycle applications.

Never has any battery manufacturer accomplished what Odyssey has by pairing a starting battery with a deep cycle battery. Some boats require both a starting battery and a house battery (deep cycle). With the 31M-PC2150 you only need one.

I have used two of these. One in my R1100RT BMW motorcycle, known for being slow-cranking. It made a big difference. Faster cranking, less voltage drop, definite improvement. The other one is in my Miata, which seems like it would be an easy car to crank, but the battery sits in the far back right corner of the car, behind the rear wheel well. There's a long cable to the starter. The previous battery (the correct, application specific AGM battery) never cranked as strong as the PC680, in spite of being almost twice as heavy.... read more

Since our founding in 2004, we have been selling Saft lithium batteries and battery packs. The LS14250 was and remains to be one of our best sellers. Many manufacturers make the 1/2 3.6V cell but the LS14250 is the standard for many devices and our recommended choice.
