This is the second time I have bought this battery. The best thing about it is that I have always recieved it with a full charge. Just hook it up and ride. The only pwc battery that I have ever owned that lasted more than 2 years. The last one I bought lasted me 5 years.I Ordered this product about 12pm one day and was delivered by 5pm the next day with just standard shipping charges.

The battery arrived so quickly after ordering it and it was packed so well too, brilliant. I had to make a platform to sit the battery on as the battery carrier is deeper than the battery. I also had to extend the earth strap to fit onto the negative post. What more could I expect when deviating from original equipment. Other than this I am pleased with my purchase and how it starts my 1990 Yamaha FJ 1200 3CV. I'll let you know how it's doing in five years time. Thank you.

Have not had a chance to put the battery to the test but what little I have used it, it has more starting power than the battery that came in the bike. Did not have to make any modifcations to the battery cables. Battery Stuff was first class, answered all my questions and the next battery I need will come from them

I bought this to replace the exact same model PC 545 Odyssey battery that I have used in my Snapper Zero Turn 18hp riding mower. The first Odyssey battery I had for this mower lasted 8 years!! I knew it was done when it would no longer hold a charge. This Odyssey battery has saved me the expense and the work involved changing lawn and garden lead acid type batteries every 2 or 3 years. That is what I had to do before buying the Odyssey. One word of advice- use a battery tender or-- better yet-- the Odyssey charger/maintainer... read more

The battery continues to carry a hgher voltage - which is good. Does crank the engine well. Has good reserve power. The battery terminals are set back about 3/8 of an inch which makes it a little difficult to install versus the factory battery. Yes the battery does fit the box on the bike well. The mfg. should simply supply spacers and longer bolts. I undersand that they do offer a kit for this but you will pay extra. I have had this battery for 3 weeks I can't say for long term but it is doing a good for now.

What you'll get is a great dry cell with plenty of small-motor cranking amps in a small package. I use this in my Mitsubishi Evo (2 litre turbocharged four cylinder) to pull weight out of the front of the car. Weight savings are on the order of 12-15 lbs over the OEM wet battery. The performance on this battery over the last 3 years has been flawless. I live in Southern California so the weather never gets really cold...YMMV. It always pumps plenty of starting amps when I turn the motor over. I've been very pleased with this... read more

I ordered this Odyssey PC545 battery as a replacement for my VTX 1800. It arrived in time, well packed, too. According to the manual it was pre-charge. So I took the old battery out and compared them. It was supposed to be a direct replacement. Unfortunately this Odyssey is about 3/4" smaller in hight. In my case it didn't make a difference - be aware if you use this battery and expect it to be the same size. Other then that it was a simple swap. It does have more CCA then the original battery. The mounting points for the ca... read more

Not to take anything away from Odyssey, they make a great battery. But there is a new player in the market and they are waking waves in the pure lead AGM segment. Designed by the creator of the PC2150, Dr. Frank Fleming, the Northstar PL-AGM 31 uses a slightly high plate compression giving it a high nominal capacity. These batteries are currently in hot demand for public buses and emergency response vehicles.

Pure lead AGM is the answer to all the problems of Gel and standard AGM disadvantages. Lasting up to 4 times as long and capable of delivery much more cranking power and deep cycle reserve, the PL-AGM 31M will out perform your Deka any day and lower your cost of ownership at the same time.
