This battery will fit Subaru's roughly 1990 to 2004 (possibly other years as well). I have three of these batteries in three vehicles. Service life of 8 years is definitely achievable. I am much more pleased with Odyessey batteries than the competition Optima. I had an Optima yellow top develop a shorted cell just outside of warranty, and I had actually never even installed it (just kept it on trickle charge). I still use the Optima to run my phone charger and fan during camping but it is useless in as the vehicle's main bat... read more

I am using this battery in my Toyota Tacoma. I noticed better gas mileage since installing it. Quick delivery and easy transaction. Absolutely the best cranking power out there. Even my stereo sounds better. Wish I could of dynoed car before and after because car feels alot stronger. Great battery! Started right out of the box! No problems, fit great and great price!

I drive a Jeep Wrangler Unlimited 2006. I'm its first owner. Ever since I bought my Jeep, when turning the key for the ignition, it always felt sort of "weak". I dismissed it as perhaps a somewhat weak starter or just a heavy engine. One day, I saw an episode of "How It's Made" on TV. It was the manufacture of car batteries - specifically, Odyssey-brand batteries. I was impressed! A few weeks ago, my Jeep had trouble starting... as my instrument panel and gauges all fluttered as I turned the ignition, I knew my Jeep's factor... read more

I replaced my factory supplied Optima battery for my Jeep Liberty Diesel with this battery. I wanted the best dry cell battery available and think I have found it. It is physically bigger than stock but set right in and all cables reached without any problems. The stock battery blanket required some added velcro to wrap this battery tightly. It came fully charged and has performed as expected. Ask me in 8 years as that will be the true test.

The battery was great, with lots of cranking power. No problems until one day the truck wouldn't start. The top posts showed plenty of voltage on the meter, but apparently the bonding to the positive side terminal broke internally, and this one was connected to my starting system, so guess what... no go. The side terminals have a design flaw because they should be better supported to prevent this kind of separation. Since I need both positive terminals in my set-up, this was a big problem for me

I have high compression motors in my street rods and muscle cars that sit for long periods of time between driving. The Odyssey batteries always have plenty of power to crank 'em up. The battery is strong and starts the high compression motor effortlessly. Built in handle makes for easy installation and removal. Fantastic American made product.

Due to my excellent experiences with the Odyssey PC1200MJT, I decided to buy this PC925MJT in 2011. The MJT stands for METAL JACKET TOP POST which was just icing on the cake. Having a metal case just protects the Odyssey battery much better from heat and other damage, and the top posts kept the battery looking more like a factory piece using OEM cables. Incidentally, my PC925MJT arrived with the posts - but you may need to be more informed about that in this listing. Starting power is great in the heat of the summer and mild... read more

I bought this as a starting battery for a Kohler home standby generator. I bought it primarily because my experience with Sears Di Hard batteries was that they failed much too often after too short a time. I cannot give an honest review at this time because while the Odyssey is supposed to offer a long and dependable service life, it has only recently been put to use. Though initially expensive, I bought it because it is promoted as being of military grade and rated high for reliability.
