Rented here for a year and was told when I first leased the unit that they never flooded. Found that not true and in heavy rains the main strip floods and intrudes into units about three feet.
I recommend StorageMart. I rented a controlled climate storage unit. They provided pallets since the unit floods during the rainy season, the storage was always kept at a cool temperature as advertised, and the lighting was sufficient when I needed to go into my unit. This was the best price I found in Key West. My four stars come from the fact that if you are one day late on your payment, you are charged a late fee. No grace period given. That was my only disappointment.
