As a resident in my 4th year with Stoney Brook, I have been very satisfied with living here. I recently had to downsize apartments, and I must highlight Lakesha who is the Assistant Community Manager. She made the whole process as painless as possible. She answered my phone calls/emails in a timely manner, answered all of my questions, and was always prepared with my leasing paperwork ahead of time. Thank you, Lakesha!
Way too many speed bumps. It it. Is really hard on my car, even going slowly. The apartments are nice, property is well kept. Nice people live there. Pet friendly.
My fiance and I applied here and they lied to us during the entire process then had us re-apply.Then they denied us again based on my finance’s pending charge which they obtained through ALACOURT (which was not in the terms of agreement.we cleared the background check) which is a violation of the Fair Housing Act and federal law.They refused to return my money after misleading/lying to us and they broke federal law to deny us an apartment.We have to go to a lawyer to sue them and get our money back now since they just openly... read more
We love living here. My boyfriend and I are just about to renew our lease for another year. We've made friends in the neighborhood, people who have lived here for several years. We're both close to work, shopping, and food options. The property management here are beyond helpful, from our leasing agent, all the way to the handyman. If I could give zero stars I would. I attempted to apply for Stoney Brook and I was denied although I met the requirements. First, I was told I did not meet the income ratio when that was not true. After providing additional documentation, I was then told the person reviewing my documentation was new and read my information incorrectly. I was then informed by the Leasing Consultant she attempted to contact me, but I did not have a missed call from her.
