History Established in 2005. The Stoned Crab is a blast from the past. The current building has had many names over the years, but the one which always stuck out to the current owners, Ron and Clairissa Pickering was the "Stoned Crab" which it proudly displayed back in the 70's. When the restaurant was purchased in 2005, the Pickering's decided to bring back the former name. And the Stoned Crab was reborn. Today, the Stoned Crab is a lively eating and gathering place located in Macungie, PA.

Service was EXTREMELY slow ... but the food was magnificent. Not sure what happened but we were seated at 615 and not served main course until 745. Will just call it a one off ... Was there for Sons BDay. Son and friend had King �; wife and I had Salmon and Seafood Scampi. Food was 5 stars ... slowness (not waitress service) was a miss.
Enjoyed a drink...Or two and Oysters Rockefeller at the bar waiting for a ToGo, which came out rather quickly, even on Feb 14th. Scallops over roasted pepper slaw and Crab cake entrees were packaged well, attractive when box opened and delicious! Love this place!! Above came with tossed salad, veg and potato, bread and dipping oil, total with a draft and VO Manhattan and that Oyster appetizer was $73. Great value!
My husband and I went here for Valentine's day dinner. Everything was great, and the filet topped with lump crab was awsome. The only thing I was a little bummed that it was a limited menu beings that I scoped out the regular menu earlier and had my hopes set on something else. However the filet was great!
Food is great! Have been there a few times and everything I have tried was good. And the service was good. Would definitely go back again.
Great good and outstanding service! I'll be sure to return in the future!
