History Established in 2005. The Stoned Crab is a blast from the past. The current building has had many names over the years, but the one which always stuck out to the current owners, Ron and Clairissa Pickering was the "Stoned Crab" which it proudly displayed back in the 70's. When the restaurant was purchased in 2005, the Pickering's decided to bring back the former name. And the Stoned Crab was reborn. Today, the Stoned Crab is a lively eating and gathering place located in Macungie, PA.

My first time there. Food was amazing. I had the Mediterranean Mahi Mahi and my husband had the crab, shrimp, and lobster scampi with a crab cake added on. I loved the Mahi Mahi, it had an amazing crunch on the outside and flavors were a perfect mix of buttery sweetness with sour of artichoke hearts, capers, and kalamata olives. Service and food absolutely amazing. Always one of my favorite places to have dinner!
It was my daughters and my first time at Stoned Crab. We went early for dinner service. It is A beautiful restaurant. We both had seafood, everything we had was delicious. The food was hot, tasty and amazing. Highly recommend the crab bisque, the bacon wrapped scallops and the the entree of the seafood mushroom risotto and the stone crab Scampi. We will be coming back again. We left completely satisfied.
My boyfriend and I ate here for the first time this evening and it was amazing!!!!! The snow crab bisque was delicious everything was just delicious, we will be back again!!!
