Very upset, I ordered a Groupon for 4 vouchers for my family. We planned a trip to travel to GA to see Stone Mountain from NY. Today I received an email from Groupon that their was an error with the pricing. They canceled my order and want me to pay over triple the amount I originally payed for my tickets. Groupon wasn’t helpful, they told me to repurchase tickets for 179.80 and wouldn’t honor the 44.99. Now I have a trip planned with no place to go. 179.80 for a day is crazy and over priced. I love all the entertaining, walking trails, people and just a wonderful way to spend a day!
For anyone thinking they can use the Groupon offer for the family 4 pack, Stone Mountain Park will not honor it. Also, save yourself the time of fighting with Groupon, they’ll just say it’s Stone Mountain Parks issue. Overall, my kids first time to the park was less than exciting.
