So glad my son & got to experience this beautiful place. The Laser night show was awesome. Very patriotic and everyone was happy to be there.

Lots to do outside , small amusement park. The museum is a great way to take a break in the AC and learn something. While the carving is about the confederacy the museum is all about Stone Mountain and it’s history. Lots to learn in history , geology and botany in the museum and shows.

Very Rude Staff! Don’t seem to mind selling tickets in advance, on line, charge your credit card. With no guarantee of admittance. ??? And refused to refund the cost of tickets. State of Georgia really needs to take a look at how this place is being run. Very poorly managed, especially during a holiday. Plan to notify BBB and Federal Trade Commission. Apparently, This State Park is not Tourist Friendly. Strongly suggest another destination.

We had a great time! The only thing we didn’t get a chance to do was ride the locomotive train due to rain. The skylift to the mountain was awesome! The view is spectacular! I highly recommend and oh the laser show was just as awesome.

After paying $20 to park and $15 (we were a party of 10) per person to ride to the top of the mountain the power went out AT THE WHOLE PARK! They refuse to refund for the tickets and the lift will be closed for the rest of the day! The managers have a horrible attitude, and they were continuing to take customers money for the sky lift even with it not operating. They also had TONS of customers standing at the front to buy tickets for attractions (which were not open due to the power being out) they were not telling these peo... read more

I came to Georgia to visit my grandchildren! I took a party of 14 to Stone Mountain Park. I bought tickets for 10 people to ride the sky ride. Just as I finished the transaction the power in the entire park went out. I am returning to Florida tonight and will not be able to return to use the tickets. I spoken with the girl at the window and was told she refused to give me a refund. I asked for a manager and she said she was the manager! I’m very disappointed in the customer service and will NEVER return to the park!
