I can't stand Stone Mountain Park anymore. Today I wasted time and money doing the "Spring Break Bash" with my four year old. They advertise it being from 10:00am-7:00pm. We get there at 10:15....NOTHING was open. No shop. No concessions. Nothing. So at 11:00, when the print out schedule said attractions would start, only a few things opened. And by 12:30 when I decided I couldn't stand to be there any longer and we left, the restaurants and concession stands were still not open. My daughter really wanted a slushy or dippin ... read more
the restaurant and the surroundings are beaitiful, bur stone mountain itself is a throwback to slavery.
It was a quiet place to park for 4 days.
This was one of the best attractions we’ve been to. For one, we were in town for a Math competition and we just looked up things to do. We chose Stone Mountain for the Sky Ride to the mountain. I had no idea there was an actual Park with attractions. We were hesitant to buy the all attractions pass but it really is worth it! Be mindful of time.
