Waited with much anticipation for this weekend at Snow Mountain. It was a huge disappointment to us. In 2 hours, we only got to ride the tubes 4 times because half of the attraction had no snow which led to half of the lanes being closed. We definitely don't feel as though we received our money's worth from this trip & probably won't do it again.
I had a great experience at the Evergreen Marriot there. Was part of an event filled with entrepreneurs sharing Internet business models. The staff are super friendly and customer focused. The rooms are fresh and comfortable. Great space for leaders with teams and speaking engagements. Also the way they handled the #packers staying there was super discreet and professional. Though any of the guests that stayed there easily would have recognized the players.
I am pleased with the park and its amenities however improvement in the maintenance department would be beneficial to the park. I regularly hike the mountain side for exercise and bring relatives and out-of-towners for a hike as well. I was very disappointed during yesterdays visit. I stopped to admire the flags at the base of the hike up trail and to my dismay every single flag was torn, faded or had a hole in it. Such a shame.
Just chilled for lunch. Then back to work..great day...
This was our second trip to Snow Mountain this season and it was awesome both times! Where else can you snow tube and build snowmen in short sleeves? Only complaint... our first trip was during Stone Mountain Christmas, so there was lots to do beside the snow. This time it was just Stone Mountain, not as much to do. Only ticket available was Snow Mountain + three attractions... I don't even think there were three attractions open. Also, the food in the park is awful, but if you go in with that knowledge, it is really fun!
I loved it! Had lots of fun with 1 year old! Stroller parking was very convenient! Will be going back soon!
I kill my 5 mile walk everytime I go. I don't like walking up the mountain. I did it because my son asked me to. Yesterday was my first time so I was unprepared as far as having water to drink during the walk up the mountain..
Amazing park! We have climbed the Mountain many times and love it! This time we stayed in our camper at the campsite and it was beyond wonderful!!! The views of the Mountain and lake were amazing!
I Had a Great Experience Haven't went Hiking in Yrs and it was my first time experiencing it on Stone Mountain The Views were very breath taking and the hike was phenomenal I'll definitely recommend it for anyone Can't wait to go again some time
