I loveddddddddd this place. Nora is the BEST and GABRIEL was a wonderful Server..The AMBIANCE was perfect and THE STEAK was DELICIOUS and my chocolate MARTINI was a SWEET DREAM���
Had a reservation here, but was told to wait 30 minutes to an hour by hostess upon arrival! Went to the chef Tom Coliccio founded restaurant next door instead at 1 Hotel for dinner, because the service at STK as I entered and while I was waiting at the bar table was extremely horrible- nobody came to take my order for over 20 minutes, it was also extremely loud due to radio music, the restaurant is very much mismanaged, not at ALL like a Steakhouse, but a cheap loud club or low class bar run by hoochi-mommas. If you enjoy good music, DON'T COME HERE – Music is not up to par. When I speak of music, I speak of the DJ. I went on a Monday and the vibe was really...how should I say this...BORING. I went for a birthday party, and if it weren't for that party, I would of never been there.
What a blast - Great meal! – Okay, I have been to STK NYC and I have to say this one is as good if not better. The first time I came there was an air-condition problem but I just went this week and that was solved. The place is so fun and alive compared to most steakhouses. Worst Birthday Dinner I Ever Attended, and it was my bday – The Miami New Times wrote an article on STK, it was titled "Style over Steak". Boy were they right! I came here for my 23rd birthday (4/29) & wanted to try a nice new restaurant out, so I chose STK. What a mistake! Please do yourself a favor, spend your money elsewhere.
