He kept referring to "perceived pain" and he was just a consult as I had an appointment scheduled with a Neurosurgeon at Abay Neuroscience. He was "willing" to cut at the back of my spine if I wanted to do it to "try" to relieve the pain. I have one cervical fusion and had fallen down some stairs and knew there was an issue. Chipped bone, herniated disc, and fusion done correctly by Dr. Dickerson. Worth the wait! Do NOT recommend Dr. Ericksen at all.

I was able to get into see Dr. Erickson in less than a week. He reviewed my history and an MRI that I had brought. He explained and showed on the MRI pictures the reason for upgrading my 'mild to moderate' stenosis diagnosis to severe stenosis of L 4/5. He recommended a Laminectomy which was scheduled within a week. Dr Erickson and Kansas Spine & Specialty Hospital were kind and professional. Stenosis symptoms were gone immediately after surgery. Now 4 days after surgery, I feel real good!

I have been to many dr's over the years for my back. I was seeing a dr in El dorado. Seen him 3 times. Didn't do anything for me and just basically took my money. A friend referred me to Dr Ericksen. He spent approx a half hr with me. Ordered new MRI'S. Found my L5 was blown out. Had surgery this morning at 10am home by 1pm same day. First time in 4 months with no nerve and leg pain. Highly recommend Dr Ericksen

I was referred to him for chronic degenerative spine issues. Dr Ericksen's office took a lot of xrays. They said the Dr would be in to go over them with me. He came in, introduced himself, asked me two or three questions, pushed on me in a couple places and said he was prescriing physical therapy. I asked about the xrays. He pulled them up and said. Um Here's your neck. here's your mid back. Lots of fusion, arthritis. I'm not worried. - Total 5 worthless minutes and lots of $ spent.

NOT COMPASSIONATE OR UNDERSTANDING OF THE DEGREE OF PAIN AND DURATION OF IT. HE TRIED TO ISOLATE TO JUST ONE SMALL AREA BUT THE PAIN COVERS A LARGER AREA. HE OFFERED A STEROID INJECTION WHICH 3 HAVE NOT HELPED BEFORE SO I DECLINED IT. HE OFFERED NO OTHER TESTS TO TRY TO DETERMINE THE CAUSE OF THIS YRS. OF PAIN THAT GREATLY EFFECTS MY LIFE. I WOULDN'T GO BACK TO HIM NOR RECOMMEND HIM TO ANYONE ELSE! I WAS VERY DISAPPOINTED THAT HE COULD NOT HELP ME. WHY DID HE NOT TRY TO FIND THE CAUSE!
