I enjoyed the care of surgical staff, medical staff, and surgeon. They made the surgery seem less painful.
The procedure that I needed done is not very common (or benign, in his words) and fundamentally altered the way I can use my foot, so I made sure to do my research prior to selecting a surgeon. I truly could not have chosen a better surgeon than Dr. Raikin; I meticulously followed all of his instructions and am extremely pleased that the result is exactly what he described to me beforehand! I was so happy to see that Dr Raikin participated with my insurance! I researched and found that he is in the top 25 total ankle replacement surgeons in the US. I was able to get an appt easily. His office staff is pleasant and very efficient. He has a great support staff—C Savitch CRNP and Chardonnae -his nurse. My surgical experience was excellent—btw, I am a RN and can be very critical of my care. Post op pain was well controlled.
