Dr. Young provided excellent care and took time to answer all my questions.
Dr. Young performed emergency removal of my gallbladder - his modern technique left hardly any scarring with fast recovery. I was nervous and had lots of questions. He was superb in answering all of them and also helped me to relax, given this was an unexpected event. His follow up at the hospital as well as the post-op was very professional and comforting. I highly recommend Dr. Young! Very friendly office staff and excellent COVID safety protocol.
I was so happy to find a doctor with such high ratings but now regret stepping foot into this office. I was trying to get away from another doctor I had who was extremely rude so I could see this doctor, who was kind and polite at first. But at my appointment with Dr. Young, he looked at my body and told me I might want to get something, like a belt, to hold "that" down, referring to my stomach area, or it'll be all over the place. Dr. Young was recommended to me by one of my Physicians, and also by a neighbor. Upon a consultation with him, he evaluated my condition and gave me good feedback on its status. Dr. Young is professional, friendly, and is also a good listener. He answered all of my pre-op questions which helped me to know what to expect, and to feel more confident going into surgery. Dr. Young was recommended to me by both my family practitioner and my urologist. I met with Dr. Young before my procedure and he gave me a thorough explanation about the condition of my gall bladder and why it needed to be removed. Turns out It wasn’t working anymore and was adhered to other tissue. Dr Young skillfully removed my gallbladder without complications. I quickly recovered and am grateful to have found a surgeon with his ability.
I went to emergency with severe abdominal pain. Tests were done and a gall bladder operation scheduled. Dr. Young did the surgery. After recovery Dr. Young gave a complete rundown of everthing even pictures. He is very easy to talk with very professional and a good sence of humor. I would reccomend him completely to friends, family or anyone else. Dr. Young has earned a 5 star rateing from me for an all around excellent job which has brought my life back to normal. Dr. Young is LITERALLY a LIFE-SAVER! After being discharged from two other ERs, something told me to go to John Muir in Walnut Creek. It turns out that my severe pain was due to a perforated bowel (a life-threatening condition). Dr. Young is an outstanding surgeon and very personable. I had hernia surgery a few weeks ago and have fully recovered with no problems.
