I went to john muir Wc emergency due to gallstones pain, a few hours later they told me that I needed emergency surgery to remove my gallbladder, I got really scared and nervous since it was my first time getting surgery and all i thought of was my 15 month old baby. But then Dr Young who did a phenomenal job on my surgery came in and spoke very clearly about the procedure and all the information that I needed to know. Dr. Young is very friendly and has been very patient with my numerous questions. His answers are clear and understandable to me. I recovered from surgery as expected and have not experienced pain or side effects that are unexpected post surgery. I have no reservation referring Dr. Young to patients with inguinal hernia.
Felt very comfortable with all explanations. Just a personable, very knowledgeable doctor.
Dr. Young literally changed my life. I went to see him with a very nasty open wound on my head, that had been there for 3 months after a car accident. I had seen many doctors before him and the wound was not improving. I was really depressed!! In 3 weeks of treatments with him, it is totally healed!! Not only he is really talented, but, the level of caring that he and his assistant gave me all this time, was really wonderful. I will always be very grateful to him.

Dr. Young is top of his game. Beyond being an excellent surgeon, he took the time to explain everything in detail and answered all my questions. Pre and Post Op were great as well. Totally recommend.

Dr. Young performed a robotic hernia repair on me. His attention to detail and the way he explained the procedure is so refreshing. I wish all doctors took this extra time with their patients. Also the procedure he did was state of the art. My down time was minimal and the repair far exceeds traditional repairs.
Dr. Young is an exceptionally talented surgeon. He is exact, careful and very skilled. He listens well, has a great bedside manner, examines thoroughly and has a detailed plan before getting you on the operating table. I really appreciate this approach, rather than proceeding with the surgery and relying on experience and skill to manage whatever the surgeon finds after cutting you open.
