I can try to express my deepest appreciation for Dr. Kanoff and his staff, in words, however, I wish you could hear my voice! I was deeply troubled by a recent exam in South Carolina. An ophthalmologist told me very little about a newly diagnosed narrow angle condition in both my eyes. He told me I needed to have an iridotomy ( a laser to put holes in both eyes in the iris) He explained had he dilated my eyes, I would have gone to the emergency room in pain and lost vision. My own experience with Drs. Peet and Kanoff has been positive — Not without a few post surgical problems, but nonetheless positive. Both doctors performed their respective tasks conscientiously and well. The same complimentary accolade may also be applied to their associated optician, Barry Brobst — Who showed, both, my wife and I that he really knows optics, as well as how to correctly fit a pair of eyeglasses.
