My husband has been seeing Dr. DESAI for a couple years now and when he started he had no vision in his left eye due to shingles. Dr. DESAI has given him his gift of sight back.... he is AMAZING!!! The entire staff are wonderful.
I have never had such wonderful, caring, thoughtful and understanding attention from a medical facility in my life. The entire staff from front door, to tech, to PA's, to billing, to doctors is amazing. They make you feel so comfortable, my procedure has gone very well including cataract and Vitrectomy. I just can't say enough about this practice. Dr's Weinstock and Kirsch are wonderful caring people and their staff is amazing. I am lucky to live in this area to be able to receive such good care.
I came from Key West to have a cataract removed from my left eye. They removed the cataract, fixed the astigmatism and corrected the long distance vision. This is the first time in 51 years I have not had to wear contacts. The staff and doctors were fantastic! Professional and caring. i could not be happier or recommend them more highly!
I called in advance & explained I'd felt with Chalazions for several years. I've done EVERYTHING non invasive, never resulting in a positive result . Surgery is the only thing that's ever worked.all this was explained over the phone prior to the appt. They had me come in, wasted money & time. AND the PA was condescending to both me & my mother, informing me I'd have to wait TWO months before the Dr would even see me, and even then she would only do a shot that I've already had done many times & it's never worked. I have been a patient of Dr Hairston for two years and he has been an excellent and knowledgeable professional who I thank God for, although it has been a tedious journey I really appreciate and am grateful for everything he and Dr Wienstock have done for me. I would highly recommend The Eye Institute of West Fl to even my closest enemies, because everyone deserves to see this beautiful world we live in. 8/9 Posted this after my introduction to the EIofWF: The staff was friendly, attentive, and efficient. Dr. Kirsch is a good listener--I had many issues to which I needed answers and he addressed every one of them patiently and completely. I've been looking for a new eye doctor and I called several places; Eye Institute of West FL was the first to have a person answer the call without a long hold. I was set up with an appt to see Dr. Johnson for my annual visit and he was excellent. After check in, there was maybe a two minute wait (I did all my paperwork online). I found Dr. Johnson to be the utmost professional and caring. There was no rush and we had time to chat about options for dry eye and contacts. I would not recommend having any eye surgery done here. They did a good job on my right eye but something went wrong on the left eye, and now my vision can't even be corrected.
