As for the care you receive as a patient, it is simply outstanding. I have very sensitive teeth, a phobia about going to the dentist, and have had many problems over the years (I've needed crowns, fillings, root canals, bridges, periodontal treatment, etc.) and they have all been handled with the utmost care for my comfort and the long-term health of my teeth and gums
I had been going to him for close to 20 years; most of the staff has been there during all that time. Your staff will make or break you, and he seems to know that and takes good care of them, and they take good care of him and his patients.
When something is beyond Dr. Johnson's expertise, he refers his patients to the best specialists in the area who provide the same exceptional care and service. My husband and children have gone to Dr. Johnson as well and they have all had great experiences and love Dr. Johnson. After moving out of state, I actually made an appointment during a return visit to Riverside so that my husband and I could have our cleanings and exams by our beloved Dr. J
No one will ever take the place of Dr. Johnson. You couldn't do any better if you are looking for a gentle, professional, kindly dentist and a friendly, professional, and efficient front- and back-office staff. I recommend Dr. Johnson without reservation.

It was just an initial exam so I'll report back after my scheduled DRILLING, but everything about this experience was ideal. The office staff was friendly and well-organized. They saw me on short notice, even though I was a new patient. The hygienist was delightful. Dr. Steven seems like such a nice guy: skilled, friendly, outgoing. Groupon. Came here before vacation. Had a good experience. X-rays and cleaning by dental hygienist. She was friendly and informative. Will be coming back for a dreaded scaling/ cleaning. Felt comfortable.
Office was absolutely the best! The water during teeth cleaning was the perfect temperature for my sensitive teeth
