Dr Beanes is very caring, makes sure you feel like the most important person in his office. He sat with me, no computer in front of him, for 30 minutes. He recalled the surgery, and circumstances, from my procedure 18 months ago, offered helpful advice and was present! Most docs, these days, don’t want to spend the time. Bonus point, HE WAS ON TIME!
Dr. Beanes has special skills beyond his superior abilities in surgical techniques. He listens carefully and is very focussed on the discussion at hand. He took great care in offering to answer all my questions and I was not rushed, despite an obviously busy practice humming outside the exam room. He is the exact profile I am looking for in a surgeon.
Dr Beanes performed surgery and during the scheduled pre-op meeting was very informative and willing to answer all my questions. Day of surgery, he spent time reminding me of everything we discussed and took time to answer last minute questions. Surgery was successful and I am pleased with the results and with him and his practice.
I was referred to Dr. Beanes in April of 2022 for double hernia surgery. He was able to schedule surgery just two weeks after my initial consultation. He explained it would probably be laparoscopic, but it could also be an open surgery depending on my body. I was referred to Dr. Beanes in February 2022 for the excision of a melanoma. From my first visit until my last visit, I found Dr. Beanes to be honest and straight-forward with his explanations as well as his answers to my questions. Dr. Beanes performed my double iguinal hernia repair in January 2022. I had absolutely no post-operative pain or even discomfort. The results are exceptional. His surgical skill effectively 'gave me my old life back' before I the hernias developed about 7 years earlier. I should not have waited. Dr. Beanes performed a hernia surgery on the two sides below my stomach at the end of December 2021. After the surgery, I did not have pain or need to take any pain medications; I was moving around and sleep almost normal. He did an excellent and very clean surgery. Two weeks after the surgery I saw the doctor and found everything very well and I was back to normal. The reviews About him are very true and I highly recommend dr. Beanes to perform any hernia surgeries.
This doctor is amazing! I had double inguinal hernia surgery, laparoscopic, in and out in less than 90 minutes. The nurses and the doctor's bedside manner was the best I have ever seen! When I got home, I never had to take any pain meds, not even aspirin...follow up visit after 10 days took exactly 5 minutes ....I highly recommend!!!!
Best bedside manner of any doctor I've ever seen. He was also a very skilled surgeon, and his office staff were great.
