Dr. Beanes performed a Hernia repair on my right side. My entire experience was outstanding. Dr. Beanes and his entire staff treated me with the upmost respect and care. It was only 4 days of post op before I was taking my two mile walks every day with no discomfort whatsoever. I enjoyed being talked to, and not at, by Dr. Beanes and his entire staff. Very highly recommended.
I had my gall bladder removed by Dr. Beanes, and my particular situation was non-life-threatening, but a little non-standard. My first impression was a team that was ready for my appointments and Dr. Beanes was on time to ALL my appointments. Dr. Steven Beanes is exceptionally competent for umbilical hernia repair. His expertise shines through in every aspect of care. He explained the procedure clearly, easing all my worries. The surgery was smooth, with great results and quick recovery. Dr. Beanes' follow-up care was top-notch. His skill and compassion make him the go-to surgeon for umbilical hernias. He is the best surgical specialist I went with and he was my doctor too in the hospital so if you need a surgical specialist come to him and he will answer your questions
Aside from his excellent training, Dr. Beanes was wonderful. He spent time reviewing my images with me. He was patient kind and I couldn’t have asked for a better appointment. I highly recommend this exceptional doctor.
My pre-op visit was explanatory, so I knew what to expect. On surgery day Dr. Beanes showed up, explained again what he was going to do and then we got going. My post-op recovery was great — virtually no pain, no complications and at 2 weeks and a few days he said I’m recovering like he expected. All phenomenal, especially considering the size of my hernia.
Dr. Beanes worked diligently to complete my appendicitis treatment however, my body needed additional help and ended up being a full appendectomy. Dr. Beanes was honest before the work started about what might happened and he did amazing work. Always communicated to my wife, and set clear expectations. My experience was a 10 out of 10! His exam pre hernia repair was detailed and his detailed description of what the surgery would entail was superior to other physicians I saw. He is kind and very professional. His scheduler Sara obtains all records and is excellent also she works to get you set up and she follows up!
