$250 to unclog a drain and install a water filter - complete rip-off. Save your money and go somewhere else or do-it-yourself with the help of Home Depot. You have to pay transport time, waiting time if you have building security, etc. The plumbers took 45 min + (at $85 an hour!) to arrive at my door, then I had three things for do and got charged two hours of service. Watch Out, They'll Cheat You – The Stern plumber tried to sneak a labor overcharge in my bill after replacing a 20-ft section of water supply line from the sidewalk to my house that had been pulled up in a tropical storm. I'd already dug up and exposed the pipe. The plumber spent less than 2 hours replacing it. When he presented me with the bill, the labor amount seemed high, so I asked him how many hours, and he said 5 hours. Stern brothers plumbing (8920 sw bird road) is the best place to go when u need parts or any general plumbing need. They will literaly sit there n help u with w/e u need and if they cant find it they will send u sumwear that kan find it i recommend them to every 1 in miami with any type of plumbing problem tell then junior sent u

DO NOT USE THIS PLUMBER!!!!!! They will take advantage of you. I'm a service member and was out of the country doing my service. I had a water main break and my renter brought in stern brothers. I got quotes afterwards from three other plumbers from $450 - $600. STERN BROTHERS charged $3,218.56 to lay 21ft of copper pipe in the front yard. A 500%+ markup. I'm now back in the states and fighting with them. They basically tell me too bad. Yes it is less than a $1,000 dollar job but your renter agreed to pay $3,218.56 so too ba... read more
