History Established in 1955. our residents are the cornerstone of The Dinerstein Companies and have faithfully guided our business since its founding in 1955. In 1997, we recognized the need for high-quality student housing. The Dinerstein Companies responded by forming Sterling Housing. Today, Sterling Housing is the largest off-campus student housing developer in the country. Our eco-friendly student properties are catered specifically to the college experience so students can have the perfect home away from home.

RecommendedMy son has been at CCA since freshman year and there was no question he would be spending his senior year here. You can’t beat the convenience to campus - everything is within walking distance! Great for breaks between campus and late nights at the library. The u it’s are also close to shops and restaurants. CCA is safe, and the staff is AMAZING! Allie has been a gem to work with these past 3 years!
The staff and location are awesome!! Arianna at the front desk is great and is always quick to help with packages. Would highly recommend!
The staff is the best!!! They always help me handle whatever I need. I tell all my friends about Sterling!!! There are some really cool views of Charleston, too!
Absolutely love the staff here. There was one particular day where I had a race to get to but accidentally locked myself out of the apartment. They were so understanding and swift about it. I made the race and actually placed well!

I have lived here for 2 years and enjoyed it immensely. The staff is truly amazing and it’s proximity to campus makes it the perfect package.
would never recommend living here, they CONSTANTLY charge you random fees added to your rent with ZERO explanation. My rent is suppose to be 979 and I have never paid under a 1000 here. Not to mention how terrible they are about helping you when things are broken. Seriously wouldn’t even tell my worst enemy to live here lmao.
I love the location. The wifi has recently been updated and myself nor my roommate have experienced problems. Office and maintenance are so kind and always helpful ! Bri is so patient and always is happy to explain every step of the process. Love the community
I love living at Sterling! The office staff has always been very helpful and accommodating to us. Matienence is also great and has always fixed anything we’ve ever had issues with. It’s so much nicer than living in dorms and having a kitchen is a plus. I would definitely recommend living here! The location is unmatched. You live in the center of campus and downtown and can get anywhere in minutes.
